About the studio
A small studio,
in a quiet bylane,
in Hauz Khas.
Free Style Arts started in 2024 with a kettle, three easels, and a stubborn belief that art is best learned slowly, in a room with other people, with the same instructor turning up week after week.
Our promise
We don't teach style.
We teach attention.
Most of what we do is help you slow down. We sit at a table together, we draw the same lemon for two hours, and somewhere in the middle, you start to notice the way the rind catches light along the bottom edge.
That's the whole pedagogy. Attention is the skill. Style follows on its own, in its own time.
We cap every course at ten students. The faculty are working artists who keep their own practice — most weeks you'll find them in the studio after hours, painting alongside you.
